Everest Three Passes Trekking is challenging and arduous trek designed for adventure lovers which encompasses 3 different high passes – Khangma-La Pass (5535m), Chola-La pass (5368m) and Renjo La pass (5338m) which are not counted on the standard Everest trail. The highlights of this trek takes you to the Everest Base Camp, authentic Sherpa culture, highland monasteries, sacred maniwalls, Sagarmatha National Park, Kalapattar for whole view of Everest, glacial walk over Khumbu Glacier, beautiful Gokyo lakes and Gokyo Ri. It is popular for its spectacular sceneries of surrounding mountains and the risk involved while crossing the glacieted crevasses. Everest Three Passes Trek begins after a short and scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla.
At start trail follows the path along the Dudh Koshi river. Crossing Phakding village and through Sagarmatha National Park we reach all the way to Namche Bazaar. From Namche we head towards Tengboche, a sacred spot at high altitude offering panoramic view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse and Ama Dablam. We take downhill path through forest of Rhododendron to Dingboche and then to Chhukung following Kongma La Pass(5540m) from where we descend steeply Khumbu Glacier to reach Lobuche. We can see magnificent mountain surrounding us from the pass.
We ascend through glacier to Gorakshep and further to Everest Base Camp. Then we trek back to Gorakshep and head to Kalapathar for excellent views of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Pumori, Khumbu Glacier and many other mountains. After staying overnight at Dzonglha we trek to Cho La pass. At the top of pass we cross the icy sloping surface of the glacier and reach to Thangnag. Now the path is across Ngozumpa glacier, largest in the Nepal Himalayas, taking us to Gokyo valley and then to Gokyo Ri from where 360 degree of Himalayan Panorama is seen. Aftre a great time we continue to Renzo La Pass(5345m). The Renjo la crossing is a tough but you get rewarded with stunning view of parades of Himalayan giants including Mt. Everest with pristine Gokyo lakes at single frame.
Afterwards we descend to Lungden and trek to Thame, Monjo and finally to Lukla. Everest High Pass Trek sweetens your trek with colors all around; you will meet friendly Sherpa people, picturesque villages and nice variety of culture and traditions that cannot be found anywhere else through Everest 3 high passes trek. Though tough the scenery is a reward of lifetime experience.
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu
Once you arrive at the Tribhuwan International Airport, our company representatives will meet and greet you, and then take you to your hotel where you will check-in and spend the night. You can take this time to rest and relax before starting your Himalayan adventure.

Day 02: Sightseeing of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur city
On the second day, you will visit four UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu with a guide. You will see the ancient palaces of the Kathmandu Kingdom at Kathmandu Durbar Square and the sacred Lingum of Lord Shiva at Pashupatinath. You will also visit Boudhanath, one of the largest stupas in the world and a holy site for Buddhists. In addition, you will visit Swayambhu, also known as the Monkey Temple, which is famous for its large population of monkeys. Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square are also on the itinerary, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Bhaktapur is known for its well-preserved local lifestyle, and you will have the opportunity to see the Nyata-Pola Temple, the Golden Gate, water spouts, and the 55 Window Palace. You will stay overnight at a hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m) 2-3 hours
After breakfast, we take a 40-minute scenic flight to Lukla. If the weather is good, we'll get amazing views of the mountains and deep valleys. From Lukla, we start our trek alongside the Dudh Koshi river. You'll get to see stunning views of crystal clear mountains like Mt. Nupla (5885m), Kusum Kangaru (6367m), and the Kwongde range. After an easy walk for about 2 hours, we'll reach the village of Phakding where we'll stay overnight at a guest house.

Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazzar (3440m) 5-6 hours
We begin the trek from Phakding, walking alongside the Dudh Koshi river and crossing small suspension bridges. After reaching the village Monjo, we enter the Sagarmatha National Park and start ascending towards Jhorsalle. On this trail, we pass through waterfalls and witness beautiful scenery with lush forests of Rhododendron, Magnolia and Fir. Finally, we reach the picturesque village of Namche Bazzar, which offers breathtaking views and is a comfortable place to spend the second night of the trek.

Day 05: Acclimatize at Namche
Namche Bazaar is an important trading hub in the Khumbu region and a popular spot for acclimatization. We will spend a day here to adjust to the altitude before continuing our trek. You can choose to hike to Thame or visit nearby villages like Khumjung, Khunde, or Khongde. Namche Bazaar offers many options for activities such as visiting the National Park Head office, Museum, and monasteries, as well as enjoying cafes, shops, bakeries, and restaurants. Other essential services like post office, hospital, and high-speed internet are also available. You can also contact your family before heading towards Everest Base Camp. We will spend the night in a lodge in Namche Bazaar.

Day 06: Namche Bazzar to Thame(3750m) 5-6 hours
After having breakfast, we will begin our trek from Namche Bazaar towards Thame. During the trek, we will come across the beautiful scenery of pine and rhododendron forests, which is the national flower of Nepal. The trail goes through Thamo and Thamo Gompa, and then descends towards the Khumbu hydroelectricity project plan. We will reach Thamo after walking for approximately 6 hours from Namche Bazaar. Thamo is a remote village situated at the end of the Khumbu valley, still untouched by modern civilization, and will be our resting place for the night. We will stay overnight in a guest house.

Day 07: Thame to Lungden(4500m) 5-6 hours
After having breakfast, we will start trekking towards Tarngga from Thame. The trail is easy and gentle. We will cross Marulung on the east bank of Bhotekoshi and then descend to Lungden. On the way, we will see a lot of different plants and animals, and experience the unique Sherpa culture. The trail will take us through a narrow valley filled with giant boulders.

Day 08: Lungden – Renjola Pass (5415m) – Gokyo Lake (4750m) walking hours: 7-8 hours
After crossing the Renjo La pass, you will descend to a valley with stunning views. The trail passes by three beautiful lakes - Longpongo, Taboche Tsho, and Dudh Pokhari - each one connected by a stream. Gokyo village is located near the third lake and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, including Cho Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Lhotse, Makalu, Cholatse, and Tawache.

Day 09: Gokyo Lake exploration
Today, we will spend the day in Gokyo exploring the beautiful lakes and hiking up to some nearby viewpoints. In the morning, we will ascend for about 30 minutes to reach the top where we will see traditional prayer flags. From there, we will have a breathtaking view of the Ngozumpa glacier, the largest glacier in Nepal. We will also visit the fourth and fifth lakes (Thonak Tsho and Ngozuma Tsho) and witness the stunning panoramic views of the highest peaks, including Cho You, Gyachung Kang, Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu.

Day 10: Trekking down to Thangnak (4700m) walking hours: 5 hours
Today we will walk downhill from Gokyo to Thangnak, which will take around 4 hours. On the way, we will be able to admire the beautiful view of the Gokyo Lake and cross the Gokyo glacier. We will spend the night in Thangnak.

Day 11: Thangnak to Dzongla(4735m) 5-6 hours
Today we will trek up from Thangnak to Dzongla by ascending through the valley. We will spend the night at Dzongla.

Day 12: Dzongla to Lobuche (4910m) walking hours: 3-4 hours
The trek starts with a pleasant walk between snow-capped peaks. The trail leads towards the east, passing through dark boulders below Cholatse mountain. Along the way, you'll see the impressive Ama Dablam peak (6856m). After about 4.5 hours of hiking, you'll reach Lobuche (4910m), where you can admire the glaciers flowing down from the Lobuche peak. The towering Tawoche and Nuptse peaks are particularly stunning from Lobuche.

Day 13: Lobuche to Gorakshep (5170m), trekking to Everest Base camp (5364m) back to Gorakshep (5170m) 6-8 hours
We will start by following a narrow path between the mountain walls and glacial moraine from Lobuche to reach Gorakshep. Along the way, we will see the stunning views of Mt. Pumori and Nuptse. Gorakshep is the original location of Everest Base Camp, where we will have lunch before continuing towards the Base Camp. The trail will be rocky and there will be streams. At the Base Camp, we will experience the harsh and freezing conditions that climbers face while summiting Mount Everest. After exploring the Base Camp and its surroundings, we will return to Gorakshep.

Day 14: Gorakshep to Kalapatthat (5545m) and back to Lobuche (4940m) 5-6 hours
Today's trek is a long one, lasting about 7-8 hours. We start early in the morning to climb Kalapathar and get a stunning 360-degree view of Mount Everest and other mountains like Pumori, Lingtren, Khumbetse, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. After enjoying the view, we take an easy walk for about 2 hours to reach Lobuche.

Day 15: Lobuche to - Khongma La Pass (5535m) – Chukung (4900m) 7-8 hours
We will have an easy ascent from Lobuche and pass through small frozen lakes. Then we will descend to Khongma La Pass where we will see a Crane mummy wrapped in prayer flags. After that, we will descend to the east side of Niyang Khola valley, where we can enjoy great views of Island Peak and the jagged ridge of Amphu Lapcha. Our night stay will be in Chhukung, where we will meet climbers who are preparing for Island Peak climbing.

Day 16: Chhukung to Tengboche (3867m) walking hours: 5-6 hours
We will walk down the Imja Khola valley, passing through Dingboche village and beautiful potato fields. Then we will continue through alpine pastures and reach the highest year-round settlement in the valley, Pangboche. From there, we will enjoy stunning views of peaks like Amadablam, Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse. We will also visit the largest Buddhist Monastery in the Khumbu region at Tengboche.

Day 17: Tengboche to Namche (3440m) 4-5 hours
Today we will cross a suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River and continue trekking to Kyanjuma. Here, we will come across a junction leading to Gokyo Valley, Khumjung village, and Namche Bazzar. The rhododendron forest in this area is home to various species of wildlife, such as Pheasants, Himalayan Griffons, Musk deer, and wild goats. In the evening, we will explore the surrounding area with its beautiful scenery. We will spend the night in Namche.

Day 18: Namche Bazaar trekking back to Lukla (2850m) 6 hours
We will walk downhill from Namche to the Dudh Koshi River, which can be tough on the knees. After crossing a high suspension bridge, the path is mostly level and passes through beautiful rhododendron and pine forests. We will enjoy views of distant snow-covered peaks and pass through local Sherpa villages before reaching Phakding. From there, we'll continue to Lukla, passing through lush green forests and enjoying incredible mountain scenery. In Lukla, we'll have time to explore the local area and enjoy a traditional Nepalese dinner with a cultural show in the evening.

Day 19: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu
After bidding farewell to our porters, we will take a 40-minute flight back to Kathmandu. In case of bad weather in Lukla, this day can also be used as a spare day. In the evening, we will have a farewell dinner and discuss plans for your next adventure.

Day 20: Transfer to the airport for the final departure
