Kailash Helicopter Tour

Upon arrival in Kathmandu at Tribhuvan International Airport, we are there to pick you up will greet you with warm welcome and transfer to the Hotel. Today you will have leisure day. We will keep short briefing program on your tour, lead by our tour manager in the evening at 7.30 pm and will have dinner later by 9 pm. • Overnight at Hotel

After having breakfast we will commence sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath temple & Budhanilkantha (Jal Narayan) temple (sleeping Vishnu). Return back to hotel and have lunch in hotel. Overnight in hotel of Kathmandu.

Today after breakfast we will transfer you to domestic airport for your onward journey to Nepalgunj by domestic flight. Our representative will receive you at the airport in Nepalgunj and transfer to Hotel. We will be joining groups of other team who are going to Trip. Overnight at Hotel.

Upon landing in Simikot, our tour manager will assist you for completing immigration formalities and then arrange charter helicopter to fly Hilsa (Nepal border). In Hilsa, our local representative will take care in teahouse untill all group landed in Hilsa so the earlier flight group will have to wait for a while. And then he/she will escort you to go for Tibet border with the arrangement of necessary porters for carrying your luggage. Sometimes, we may have to wait in Hilsa for some extent even after all groups arrive because we have to check Tibet side whether the guide & vehilce reach in border or not. Sometimes, it takes little longer time for Tibetan guide in order to receive us along with all permit and military formalities. Once everything is in order, we cross border to Tibet and we drive to Taklakot (Purang - 3700 m.) from Sher (China border) which takes about an hour. • Overnight at Hotel • Nepalgunj to Simikot: 1 hour • Simikot to Hilsa: 15 minutes by B2/B3 (Euro copter) Helicopter with 5 or 6 seats • Hilsa to Sher trek: 15 minutes • Sher to Taklakot drive: 25 km / 1 hour by bus

You will have rest today in Taklakot (Purang) for acclimatization. You have to go for light walking around Taklakot town to adjust your body with Tibet climate. • Overnight at Hotel

After early morning breakfast, we will move on for our destination point at Lake Mansarovar (4560 m- Chui Gompa). Enroute our journey, you will see the breathtaking views of Raksha Taal (Lake Ravana) with background view of Holy Mount Kailash, where our vehicle will take short break for photography. And you will stopover in Lake Manasarovar for holy dip and perform homage to Mt. Kailash & Mansarovar as per your own religious way. • Overnight at Guesthouse (all dormitory room) – Dharamshala type with common Tibetan toilet • Taklakot to Lake Manasarovar: 85 km / 2 hours

After waking up at 6.00 clock we continue our journey for Kailash Kora. In the morning we reach Yama Dwar (OR Sherson / 4750m) after driving about one & half hours. It is the auspicious gateway to the Parikrama (circuit) around the Mt. Kailash. The group will have best opportunity for nearest view of Mt. Kailash and receive great darshan. Also, the group will split from this end in two parts. Those who are going ahead to attempt parikrama by foot or by horse ride will continue their trek journey. And who are not going for Parikrama will return back to Purang after Yama Dwar & Kailash darshan. Our guide will assist to manage the transport for their return journey into Hotel at Darchen and they have to wait for two days in Purang until trekkers group return back. And the parikrama / trekkers group will continue their trek towards Diraphuk. Today you will have easy and flat trekking trail with short gradual climbs. The trek will last for 5 hours covering about 14 kms distance in first day. Reaching Diraphuk, our guide or Sherpa will assist you for accommodation in the guesthouse and also serve hot tea/coffee in room. Here you will be lucky and will have blessings from Lord Shiva to see the closest view of North face of Mt. Kailash. Also, one who reached early in the afternoon and fit healthy can go for Charan Sparsh of Mt. Kailash with another short hike about 2 hours. • Overnight at Guesthouse or Tented Lodge (basic accommodation with dormitory room) • Lake Manasarovar to Darchen – 40 km / 1 hour drive • Darchen to Yam Dwar: 8 km / 30 minutes drive • Yama Dwar to Diraphuk trek: 14 km / 5 hrs

Today we have to start our trekking journey to Zuthulphuk before dawn. So, our team will serve you the earliest breakfast in the morning and begin uphill trekking continue till Dolma-la Pass (5600m). We can say this is the toughest day of the whole trip. The trail start from your guesthouse will continue ascent until you cross Dolma-la pass. After you descend from high pass, you will soon notice the holy lake – Gauri Kunda at bottom of the hill. It is believed that Parvati (the consort of Lord Shiva) took holy bath in this glacial lake and thus it became holy water. The downhill trails rapidly drops to the valley of Zuthulphuk and then the trails will continue go flat alongside of river until Zuthulphuk Monastery where your guesthouse accommodation will also arrange. You will trek about 22 km distance within 8 or 9 hours today. • Overnight at Guesthouse (basic accommodation with dormitory room) • Deraphuk to Zuthulphuk Gomba: 22 km / 8

Trekkers (Parikrama) group will have flat and easy trekking today with short distance for 2 hours. After breakfast in the early morning, you will start your hike to near Darchen valley. The distance is about 11 km and at the end of trek point you will find our vehicle waiting for us. After all group members reach in that point, our vehicle will drop us at Purang via making kora of Lake Manasarovar. In Purang you will have short rest with quick lunch and transfer to Sher along with all group members who are waiting for trekkers. The guide will manage all formalities of immigration follow by military officer till Sher border. After customs process, we will exit to Hilsa (Nepal Border) by crossing suspension bridge of Karnali River. Our Hilsa representative will assist to receive us in border with arranging necessary porters. You will have basic accommodation in local lodge at Hilsa with simple normal meals. • Overnight at Basic Lodge (basic accommodation with dormitory room) • Zuthulphuk to trek ending point: 2 hours walk - 11 km (approx.) • Trek ending point to Purang: 145 km / 3 hours drive • Purang to Sher drive: 25 km/ 1 hr • Sher to Hilsa trek: 10 min

After early morning breakfast you have to be in ready position for fly back to Hilsa. The helicopter can come at anytime in the morning as per weather situation to receive us. Our Hilsa representative will help to board you & your luggage in Helicopter and fly back to Simikot.

On arriving Simikot, our tour manager or Simikot representative will assist you for next flight to Nepalgunj continuously as per flight schedule. And when you reach Nepalgunj our representative will again help you arranging connection ticket to Kathmandu flight. • Overnight Hotel Shangrila or similar (twin sharing room with attached bathroom) .

Today we are flight to Nepaljung to Kathmandu. We reached to Kathmandu and we will make arrangement for farewell program after collecting trip feedback. Overnight in Kathmandu hotel.
