Lhasa is the capital city of Tibet, holy land of Buddhism and economic midpoint of Tibet. Lhasa classic trip falls under one of the most popular tours in Tibet. Our Lhasa classic trip starts from Kathmandu, and one additional day we will stay in Kathmandu visiting the very important historical sites pashupatinath temple ,swayambhunath stupa and Budhanilkantha. The next day we will fly to Lhasa. We will be visiting Yongpu Lhakang place, Samgye monastery, and Potala palace-winter palace of Dalai Lama, Jokhang temple- Buddhist temple in Barkhor square, Barkhor Street and Namtso Lake- holy lake in Tibet.
Day 01: Kathmandu arrival.
Upon your arrival to Kathmandu, our company representative will receive you from airport and drop you to the hotel for your stay. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing.
Today after breakfast we will begin our sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley. We will be visiting Pashupatinath Temple (the sacred temple), Swayambhunath stupa (monkey temple) and Budhanilkantha temple (jal Narayan). Back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Flying to Lhasa. (3650 meters elevation)
Today after breakfast we have a flight to Lhasa - the capital of Tibet autonomous region. Overnight stay at hotel in Lhasa.
Day 04: Visit Yongpu Lhakang Place- Samgye monastery- Lhasa.
Today after breakfast we will be visiting Yongpu Lhakang and samgye monastery. Get back to hotel, overnight stay at hotel in Lhasa.
Day 05: Potala Palace- Jokhang temple- Barkhor Street.
Today after breakfast we will spend our whole day visiting the very famous places of Lhasa, Potala Palace- winter palace of Dalai Lama, Jokhang temple- Buddhist temple in Barkhor square and Barkhor Street. Back to Hotel, overnight stay at hotel in Lhasa.
Day 06: Namtso Lake – Lhasa. (4728 meters elevation / 500 kilometers)
Today we will be visiting Namtso lake- holy lake in Tibet. Back to hotel, overnight stay at hotel in Lhasa.
Day 07: Flying back to Kathmandu.
Today after having breakfast at hotel in Lhasa, we will fly back to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 08: Final Departure.
Today our company representative will drop you to airport for your final departure. We wish you have a safe journey home.
