Lhasa is the spiritual, political and economic centre of Tibet. It is the administrative capital of Tibet. With the history of more than 1300 years, Lhasa is situate at an altitude of 3600m above sea level. At the northern bank of Kyichu river which makes it one of the highest cities in the world. One can also enjoy scenic beauty from Lhasa as it lies at the center of Tibetan plateau with surrounding mountains. Lhasa city has many old monasteries and temples that preserve historical relics, Buddhist scriptures, arts and crafts. The everyday life of Tibetans still involves old ancient culture, traditions, custom and religion. People make pilgrimage to these holy sites. Potala palace, Nrobulingka Palace, Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple are the main attractions of this city.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival In Kathmandu

Your delightful journey to the amazing Himalayas starts from your flight to Kathmandu. Onto your arrival our company representatives will greet you at the Tribhuwan International Airport and escort you to the hotel for check-in and stay overnight. You will have a rest at the hotel. Night stay at Hotel.

Day 02: Fly Kathmandu to Lhasa

You will leave for the lhasa early in the morning with your guide. Then you will be taken to a hotel to have a rest and food too. You will have a rest at the hotel. Night stay at Hotel.

Day 03: Sightseeing in Lhasa.

After breakfast in the morning, you will have an easy visit to Jokhang temple. This temple is the most revered shrine in all of tibet aqnd is constantly bustling with devout worshipers. After lunch in the afternoon, you will visit Sera Monastery, a fifteenth century sprawl of golden roofs and whitewashed walls. The well preserved monastery is located just a few miles North of lhasa and is home to several hundred monks. Night stay at hotel.

Day 04: Fly Lhasa to Kathmandu

Leave Lhasa early in the morning for the 2 hour drive to Gonggar Airport and flight back to Kathmandu or onward destination. End the trip.

Day 05: Transfer to the airport for the final departure

Nearly 2 hours before your scheduled flight, our company representative will take you to the airport. We are sure; you will back to your home taking amazing experience of Nepal. We hope you enjoyed trekking and want to be somewhere in the Himalayas again.
