Muktinath is the blessed place for both Hindus and Buddhist positioned in Muktinath valley at the base of the Thorong La –part of the Himalayas in Mustang, Nepal. Muktinath is considered to be 106th among the available 108 superior temples. The muktinath temple is reflected to be Shakti Peetha for a yatra. In the early 90th century the Hindus hallowed a Vishnu Temple and named is muktinath (lord of freedom). The word Muktinath Sanskrit name itself has its meaning in it where Mukti means “recovery or enlightenment” and Nath means “god or Master”. Muktinath has been hallowed for over 2000 years. The Muktinath Temple is also the religious symbol between Hindus and Buddhists.
Muktinath has been one such holy site, where thousands of devotes assemble for reaching the must blessed place in earth. Muktinath temple is in Pagoda style. Two holy water ponds known as Laxmi Saraswati kunda positioned in front of the Muktinath temple. Many Shaligrams found during Muktinath Yatra over here are considered by Hindu as an incarnation of lord Vishnu and worship them. Muktinath Temple is open throughout the year but especially in Ram Navami, Rishitarpani and Bijay Dashami thousands of visitors gather here to rejoice the festival.
Muktinath is known by many names as south Indian people called this place “Muktidham”, Buddhist people calls this valley the Chumig Gyasta which means “Hundred Water” and some people also called this place as Salagrama. The main shrine of Muktinath is Pagoda (shaped temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu). The statue is of gold. The portrays metal statue of lord Vishnu, goddess Laxmi, Saraswoti, Janaki, Garuda, Lava-Kush and Sapta Rishis.

Day 01: Arrival to Kathmandu

Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing
AM breakfast, you will proceed to sightseeing places of kathmandu to visit, we will begin with the historical sites of Kathmandu; Pashupatinath, Budhanilkantha, Swambunath and local places of Kathmandu valley. The city is full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments, night stay at hotel.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Manakamana Temple then to Pokhara
After having breakfast, this morning you will be driving to Pokhara (200km), approximately six hours away by private vehicle. En route, you could find Trishuli River, it is very famous for Himalayan Wild River rafting and also you can find, Manakamana Temple. The deity is one of the manifestations of the Hindu Goddess Bhagwati who is believed to have the power to fulfill wishes. It is one of the most popular pilgrimage sites in Nepal. You will be arriving late afternoon at Pokhara. You can observe views to the north across the hills and Phewa Tal (lake) to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges it is most beautiful Himalayan panoramas in the world. Day 04: Fly to Jomsom, drive to Muktinath and overnight at Jomsom.
After Early morning breakfast, this morning you will be flying to Jomsom, Hotel Check In, and then walk around to reach at Jeep Station and drive to Muktinath by Local Sharing Jeep along the Kaligandaki River. To reach at Muktinath Temple needs to walk ascending around 30 minutes. Those who can't walk can hire a motor bike.

Day 05: Fly back to Pokhara and sightseeing.
Today we will fly back to pokhara and spend a day visiting the beautiful sites of pokhara, we will explore the pokhara very nearly; we will visit the famous sites of pokhara like Phewa Lake, Barahi Temple, Bindabasini Temple, Gupteswor cave and Davids Fall and even the local sites of pokhaea too, Overnight there.

Day 06: Drive back to Kathmandu.
After having breakfast we will drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by private vehicle, which takes about six hours. While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, En route, you could enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, vegetable fields and people being engaged in their daily life activities.
